Dr. Caroline Steiger | GMU Professor of Horn

Caroline has a wild and inspiring story and I'll sum it up by saying boss. lady.

As a musician (Me! Hi, I'm a professional flutist and piccolo player as well), it is always a joy to work with fellow musicians to revamp their portraits to represent who they are NOW, cause 9/10 the last time they had portraits taken was during undergrad or grad school 🤪

But now you're a grown up! You have a real job and all the things and you need a big kid website and photos for your announcements and guest performances- my creative brain absolute explodes with excitement thinking about YOU and your attributes as a human and how we are going to collectively sum that up in some photos.

Run-on sentence because thats how my brain works, but art yeah?

Caroline is an amazing human. She's done and is still doing HARD things. She's joining her family in the DMV after serving as horn professor at Texas State University, and is taking over the role of Director of Brass and Professor of Horn at George Mason's School of Music in Fairfax, VA!
