About me


While I have been into photography on some level since high school, my first love is music! I am a classically trained flute and piccolo player currently serving with the United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" in Washington DC! Pretty wild, right?! I have a BM and MM in music performance from Baylor University in Texas, and from there music took me to England to study. I credit my time abroad to be the isolation and intense focus that I needed to develop a resilient "I can do hard things" attitude. Those that really know me might be inclined to describe it as a "don't tell me what I can't do" attitude.


I live in Northern Virginia with my husband and two sweet (crazy) kiddos! I have more plants than I can handle and love October a little too much. Extroverted introvert. INFJ. Enneagram 2ish. Recovering people pleaser (30's, amiright?)
