A violinist. An art museum. And approximately a million gorgeous backdrops to choose from. SIGN ME UP. 🎻 Emily is a freelance violinist in DC, and we spent her portrait session exploring both wings of the National Gallery of Art, violin in hand! First of all, I adore Maya. Maya is an outstanding singer and a lead vocalist in the US Army Band “Downrange.” She owns a golden doodle that I’m infatuated with, learned how to swallow pills for the first time in 2024 (we’re so proud of you, babygirl), and is always game for “Mayaaaaa, I have an idea!!!”

I’ve lived about 20 minutes south of Washington DC (in Northern Virginia) for over 11 years and I’m still completely infatuated, probably more than ever, with the history and architecture in the district! My recent work with Stroll magazine has brought me to stunning historical homes across Cleveland Park and the Palisades- and met with the equally wonderful inhibitors of these homes. Spending time with your families in locations and situations where you feel the most- what a dream.
