Some families you photograph once, and then there are the families you get lucky enough to grow alongside. The Webb family is definitely one of those families for me.
I first met Taura and Keaton when they welcomed their sweet boy, Shawn. I photographed his birth announcement, came back for their fall family photos, and then got to photograph Taura’s beautiful garden maternity session when they were expecting baby number two.
And now… BABY DANI IS HERE! 🥹
For their latest session, I headed to their home in Silver Spring, Maryland for an in-home summer newborn session with their brand-new family of four.
There is something extra special about photographing a family in their own home when they’ve just welcomed a new baby. It’s cozy, personal, and full of all those little moments that make this season so special.
And this session wasn’t just about welcoming Dani. It was about watching Shawn become a big brother and getting to see this family grow yet again.
One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to come back again and again. Birth announcements, family photos, maternity sessions, newborns… getting to document all of these seasons for the same family is something I never take for granted.
And Shawn… big brother looks pretty good on you. 😉
