Portrait

When Caroline called and asked if I was available to photograph her wedding, to say I was thrilled was an understatement. When she mentioned their location was none other than the Washington National Cathedral- my jaw dropped. So obviously I said yes yes yes yes yes yes and we decided to mosey around the campus as part of their engagement session!

Chelsea is an opera singer and fashionista based out of Northern Virginia, and she is the most fun to be with! Chelsea came in with a vision and such positive (with an appropriate hint of diva) energy. I LOVED our session at Lair, the Studio in Falls Church!

I was taking photos for my beloved Eries Interiors (Old Town, tell them I sent you) when I got to meet Jennifer. She is one of the five female artists featured in their adorably eclectic mid-century modern home goods store on St. Asaph. I’m super thankful to say she’s part of this creative mama community AND a repeat client that I’m always beyond excited to meet with.

As entrepreneurs, the value of niching down is often preached as a necessity for success. While it really does make sense, I have to admit that that is something I have struggled with. I love it all, my friends! There is beauty everywhere.

Awhile ago, harpist extrordonaire Nadia Pessoa asked me if I had heard of Kap2ure Film Studios at Crown Industrial Park in Baltimore because she thought it would be right up my alley and oooh my goodness was she correct!! So last month I took the plunge, rented the studio for a day, and had 5 amazing artist clients out to play… and I’m just already itching to go back.

Let’s Create Something That Lasts

If you’ve found something here that resonates, I’d love to photograph this chapter with care and intention. Whether it’s a milestone or a quiet moment in between, you deserve to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.
